Finding Faith-Based Solutions for Christian Business SupportOriginally Posted April 16, 2024, Updated February 18, 2026 We want Christian business support that matches our values and goals… but we’re still human. We’re lazy and want something easy. Be honest. For me, it’s important that I work with businesses that:
Sometimes, two out of three ain’t bad. It can be an expensive mistake to work with the wrong partner for something, so we pick and choose our battles. Here are some faith-based solutions that I’ve found valuable and provide good service to go with their ethics. #1: Fidei Email for Business CommunicationBusinesses need email. There’s no way around that today. Even if you rely on your AOL email from 30 years ago, you need it. And as rules and regulations grow to protect consumers, an email with your business domain is vital, in my humble opinion. But what if you don’t want to give Google money (as you shouldn’t)? Try Fidei.email. They provide helpful assistance, useful information, and a privacy policy in line with great secure email providers like ProtonMail. You can even check your email using your preferred mobile app. I've been with them for years, and I'm grateful to share them as a resource for the Christian economy. #2: Payment Processor Without CompromiseSometimes we don’t like talking about money, but we’re businesses. There is no business without money, so collecting payments is maybe the most important Christian business support you can get. And the big name processors are definitely not the most Christian. “Neutral” would be good enough. But we can do better. Pro-Life Payments (affiliate link) is a brand with a simple mission: use those boring payment processing fees to good ends. They estimate every $500 donated saves a baby. By joining forces with other businesses and Pro-Life Payments, any business from small to enterprise can make an impact. A quick application can save lives. #3: Local Networking SupportTalking about the Christian economy and revolutionizing the public sphere is big right now. But when so many things are virtual, it can seem theoretical. As much as I love virtual (please don’t make me leave my house), talking in person makes work more concrete. There are people with lives helping the church. So while you might need to find something closer to you, in Minnesota, everyone should join the St. Joseph Business Guild. It's a vibrant community of believers with both virtual and in-person meetings that connect owners, workers, and customers. We spend time learning about one another's businesses, discussing our faith, helping those looking for employment, and just generally trying to impart a lot of value into the Catholic economy of the area. Through it, you’ll be connected with enough businesses for whatever support you need. And even if you’re not Catholic, you can use their business directory to find vendors you can work with. Embrace the Value of Christian Business SupportThere is more than one way to change the culture.
As business owners, we have a role in ordering the economy towards God. And we can do that by intentionally networking with Christians and financially supporting businesses in our workflow. It isn’t just about who we serve, but also who serves us. I'm talking about businesses that can work together making a happy customer, coaching younger employees, and creating long term business plans. That kind of innovation and sustainability. If you're in need of an email solution, a payment processing solution, or a business networking group, I encourage you to check out the above links!
